HOME MOVES STILL PERMITTED IN SCOTLAND

The Scottish Government stated, yesterday 17 November, that eleven local authorities are to move into the highest protection level and travel restrictions will be put into law to prevent people who live in a Level 3 or Level 4 local authority area from travelling outside their local authority except for an essential purpose – such as work or caring responsibilities.

The City of Glasgow, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, Stirling, and West Lothian will move from Level 3 to Level 4.

The changes to protection levels will come into effect at 6.00 pm on Friday 20 November and will remain in place for three weeks until Friday 11 December and this will affect you if your property is in East or South Ayrshire.

At Rentolease we are keen to support the Scottish Government and follow best practice and guidance to ensure the safety of our staff, contractors and tenants. We believe our services offered will be unaffected however care will be taken to ensure moves in are essential, viewings can be done virtually whenever possible.

Our staff will follow our Covid-19 policies with face coverings being worn worn by our staff and contractors and all keys, hands and touch points sanitised. Where required
